I am very well-rounded and can wear many hats. I hold a BS in Construction Engineering and an MBA. I have been in construction nearly my entire life - residential and commercial, general contracting and subcontracting. In addition to nearly a decade of hands-on construction experience, I also have 15 years progressive management experience with the latest position being a Senior PM. I am entrepreneurial. I have started and operated my own business (outside of construction); written business plans, performed market research, and kept the books. I understand construction and I understand business. I am currently leaving my Senior PM position to find more personally rewarding work in an environmentally related field and a healthier opportunity where I can make better use of my experience and education in both construction and business.

Mary Sellers
Creative talent seeks new opportunities. I am an experienced marketing, advertising and special events planning professional. I am interested and extremely passionate about the environment and conservation.
I am a strategic and analytical leader passionate about team development and organization.
Proven experience with marketing, brand management, creative design, website implementation, public relations, print design, budget planning and special event planning.
I have worked as marketing coordinator and presently am a director of creative services. I have bachelor's in advertising.
Experiences include: program/product branding, print and web design, public relations, media networking, developing presentation and special event sessions, organizing, implementing and execution of several special events around Denver.
Feel Free to contact me at anytime.
As my resume indicates, I am currently working at The Council-RMMSDC as Director of Events & Creative Services. My responsibilities include: managing, overseeing and planning all events, creating, designing and implementing all marketing and advertising collateral, budgeting for this department, selling marketing and advertising, marketing and advertising all events, sending out our bi-weekly e-newsletter, website updating and implementing all creative services.
In the past year working for The Council, I have re-branded the organization with the design of a new logo, introduction of a re-branding campaign, and coordinated an unveiling ceremony. I have organized and managed several events with outstanding results. I have also created and built our entire internal database from the ground up and developed the marketing and events department at The Council.
Through working with non-profits, I have learned several ways to create successful marketing strategies on limited resources; this has proved to be both positive and negative. It has forced me to find other means of resources for events, marketing materials, public relations and advertising which helps bring out creativity, and look to sponsorships for these costs, but at times the task proves to be difficult when trying to create and maintain a certain image. This has helped round my creativity in advertising, marketing, public relations and special event planning.
This company appeals to me as a marvelous opportunity that really fits all of my interests in a career. I would expect a competitive salary for my experience and the responsibilities of this position. Thank you for your time and consideration. I am available at any time.
Sincerely,
Mary Sellers
