Below you will find links to information that can help you determine the best approach to take for improving the energy efficiency of your project, the resource efficiency of you project or how to incorporate renewable energy into your project.

    This short pamphlet describes the keys to designing and building a home that is comfortable, durable, efficient and of high quality. The pamphlet give you a checklist and a wall section to help you get started in the right direction.
  • Colorado New Home Choices
    This is a City of Fort Collins site highlighting quality construction practices.  The overall goal of the guide is to promote quality construction, using reasonable levels of insulation while paying attention to energy details. Numerous construction details illustrate specific techniques to meet code requirements as well as recommended practice for those who wish to exceed code minimums.
